My friend, Cindy, recommended adding dates to sweeten my smoothies! I did and this has become our new favorite breakfast smoothie! We stay away from all refined sugar and honestly try to only sweeten things with dates when possible, it's impressive how well they sweeten recipes!
Looking for a cold, delicous,coffee drink?
Just slowly pour a small cooled cup of extra strong, organic, coffee or a shot of espresso into the prepared smoothie, dont stir and Bam!!
What you need:
2 frozen organic bananas (peeled and chopped before freezing)
1 1/2 to 2 cups almond milk
1 Tbls Almond Butter (the kind where the only ingredient is: Almonds)
3 organic pitted dates
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract, organic
Add all ingredients to blender, enjoy!
